Reconstruction of the Front Entry to a Brownstone

The entry to this late 19th century Brooklyn brownstone had been neglected to the point where the exterior doors and transom could not be restored.

Fifty three restorations reconstructed the entry using the historic profiles and dimensions.

In addition, the vestibule woodwork and vestibule doors where restored.

All of the historic woodwork that remained in place was stripped, sanded, stained and finished.

Fifty three restorations acquired the landmarks preservation commission permit, produce the shop drawings and executed the work.
