The Chess and Checkers Pavilion
This project featured the fabrication and installation of an octagonal rustic structure that Fifty Three Restorations constructed entirely using Black Locust harvested from Upstate New York. Black Locust was chosen for this project because of its durability and resistance to insects.
The pavilion features 24 handmade rustic benches skillfully interwoven amongst a series of 72 columns.
